The days are rapidly growing shorter and the leaves are starting to turn. The first freeze still looks to be at least a week away, maybe longer. No complaints here. I am, however, starting to accept that a fall severe weather episode is looking progressively less likely with time. Hopefully the atmosphere will prove me wrong (again). Unfortunately I won't be getting any nice aster pictures this fall - as the rabbits really munched it this last spring. At right is how it looked last fall.
