About Me

I'm a graduate student within the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. I work with the Convective Modeling Group, please see my research page for more information on my professional activities. I'm a weather weenie, and particularly so with regard to severe storms. One of my favorite hobbies is storm chasing, as my busy schedule and nature allows opportunity for it. I also enjoy photography, though still have a lot to learn in that department. Of course, I relish spending time with my wife and daughter. I recently started up a web blog as an experiment for archiving thoughts on weather events and more.
